Remember that the stroke on the shock off a 'storm is about the longest there is on a streetbike. Much longer than a CBR, etc. I haven't heard of a shock off another bike being easily converted to fit a firestorm. And when it was converted, the cost of this process offset the cost of simple buying a ...

I agree with Sharpe1... Kero & a sponge/brush, will remove road grime/tar & grease without effecting things like the o-rings in your chain, gaskets & seals etc, like degreaser will do.
