RAF Waddington

Haven't been on for a while as the storm has been replaced by a zxr but i've had an invite to go to a track day at RAF Waddington and wondered if anyones been or if anyones interested. you need to know someone in the MOD to get on the track but i understand that calling them up might just get you on...

this is what i just sold the storm for i admit its the 1992 j2 model but i love it but i must say you need to like going fast cause the one thing that lets these bikes down are the brakes. i bought mine on ebay with full history with extras for £900.00 with tax and mot so if the bike needs work then...

change both thaat way you won't be doing the other one in the near future.

i replace mine with abe ones which were about £80 each but made a huge difference :thumbup:

took a little jaunt over to the bike shop on the ind estate where i work today (in works time of course) and found the biggest tease ever a stuning SP2 sat pride of place in the main window of the Honda dealers ten minutes later once someone had mopped up the drool and slapped me in the face i notic...

hi there i have a problem but was wondering if anyone has another solution?/same problem ? My fork seals are leaking again yes again i have a massive leak a couple of months ago oil all over the front brakes etc ... i took the bike into a local bike shop and had the seals replaced all for £115.00 r...

yep i think that the way i might go to be honest but i'm toying with just getting keys cut and mounting the fob somewhere on the bike around the ignition area
as it's a black piece of plastic scrwed onto the key so i'll have to have a look at it.

well i took the old girl out yesturday for a blast nice sunny day and all that got the bike back to the garage put her to bed and went to my car to go home (the garage is rented near home) took off my boots and jacket put them in the car drove home and now i can't find the bike keys :thumbdown: sear...

i don't think the brakes had been off and cleaned properly for years i was going to re paint them red but could'nt be arsed in the end as moneys tight and i have alot of other things to do to the bike like tyres chain fork seals just to get it back on the road :) the wemoto parts seam fine the brake...

just bought some goodies from wemoto to service my brakes took them off with ease took them to work to us the companies parts washer and to service them in work's time ie getting paid to work on my bike :thumbup: then the problems started as i couldn't undo the grub screws that hold the pad retainin...

i have a friend who is a fire fighter on the scene my thoughts not only go out to the friends and families who have a loved one involved and to the people who are there in a work capacity as no one should have to see what they do.

keep seeing a fellow stormer riding two up on what looks like a burgandy vtr with gold decals ?

also seen another black one like mine both have been seen a couple of times a week riding through Dawlish towards Teignmouth on the coast road
