Welcome to the UK, Mr Rumble!

You have to admit, that clutch made a pretty good wheel for 30m.

What's ya distance record?

In the week following the return of my licence, I clocked up over 3,000kms (I think that's 1875 miles) on my mighty Storm (including a rather speedy get-away from a nasty looking car with red & blue flashing lights that looked like it may have wanted to chat...). What distances have others cover...

There will always be death and Richard on the roads until vehicles are controlled by computers. 8O No wayyyyyy!! My computer breaks down more than I do. I'd hate to be in a vehicle controlled by one. And anyway, you'd have to buy a new car every week or it will no longer be compatible with the road...

Well, everyone, thanks again for your wishes. Dave's wife & brother-in-law have both looked in here & pass on their appreciation also. The funeral was around 900kms from where I live, so I left home on Tuesday & picked up another two Storms en route. We managed 15 bikes to follow the hea...

Attended a funeral on Thursday for one of our experienced guys who lost it on a round-about last week. Rode home with another OzFS member who did about a 30m slide in front of me about 700km from home. Finally made it home late last night to discover two other members had come off in the last couple...

I got a personal notification from Mr Honda himself, sent via registered mail!

Thanks for the reminder though... I'd forgotten all about it.

Thanks to all. Dave's family are very conscious of his connection to OzFireStorm & have included us in their mourning process. It's been an ordeal for everyone & a lot of us will be riding up to a thousand kms this coming Thursday to come together for the funeral. Fingers crossed for a safe ...

RIP Dave Gorham, OzFireStorm

Tragically taken from his wife of 18 years & their young children yesterday morning after sustaining serious head injuries in a fall the afternoon before. Dave was a frequent poster & very popular member of OzFireStorm. He was organising a big meet for the end of August, now his memorial rid...

I like the way you think.

News here has been reporting the last day or so that fuel's predicted to reach $8 a litre! I was too scared to pay attention to when.

Figure that'll cost me about $130 to fill up. That's a lotta money to get anywhere when everywhere here is a million miles away.

I'm too tight to shell out for either. Ceiling fans are it for me. Although I did wuss-out on Friday & bought m'self a $20 radiator... I must be getting old. I've been more tempted than ever this year, to go out & buy a car.

Just noticed the time left on the ticker ! Bet that 'storms seen some polish the last few months... You'd be forgiven for getting that wrong  I guess that's what a normal person would do, but I've never been overly fond of washing & polishing, so it's got as much of that as it normally do...

Fred the Harley Rider

A cop stops a Harley for travelling faster than the posted speed limit (believe it or not), so he asks the biker his name. "Fred", he replies. "Fred what?" the officer asks. "Just Fred", the man responds. The officer is in a good mood and thinks he might just give the b...
