Re: Fuel Capacity

Thanks to all who replied to my post, gave me a lot to think about over the winter months.Have been out regularly in the milder weather and been getting regular averages of 40 to 44 mpg,not flat out riding but not hanging around either.More recently went out with some lads on 4 cylinder fliers and sa...

Re: Bloody cold hands!

I did 200 miles around the heart of Yorkshire mid to late afternoon on Saturday, had my base layers under my leathers and normal gloves and was toasty the whole trip, started to get chilly at around 5 but never had to resort to my heated grips or anything. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride apart from some p...

So I've had my 04 storm for 3 months now, done about 1500 miles on it and apart from the front suspension (gonna sort it over the winter) I really love it. And not bad on fu...

New Stormer

Hi guys, well I picked up my new Storm yesterday all serviced with new rubber front and back ( BT 016's if anyones got experience of them to feed back) filled up with petrol and headed out around Lincolnshires finest Wolds roads to scrub in the tyres and learn how to ride a V twin after many years o...

Re: Ex Fazer Thou man

Thanks for the welcome mate and the info,I did warn the salesman that I'd be taking her for a decent spin, you can't tell anything from a wobble around the block :D Hopefully I'll cover plenty of fun filled miles and forget how good my Fazer has been.

Ex Fazer Thou man

Hi to all, came across an 04 plate VTR with 17000 on the clock this week at my local dealers, always fancied a V twin so on returning from a 70 mile test ride on the beast was impressed enough to trade in my beloved Fazer Thou. Take delivery next Wednesday when they've done a full service and fitted ...
