I had an 02 storm, the fan would kick in when in traffic at 105 and cool to 100 before switching off, it's common to be in the mid 90's on a normal run in the summer and high 80's to low 90's in cold weather.

When i was trying to start mine from cold i'd turn it over without the choke, then open the choke about 3/4 and hit the starter again, that would normally have it going first time.

Take care matey, you going down there on protection duty for the oil rig that they have towed down there to explore for oil...it's causing a bit of a stir with the locals so they say on the radio....WAR in the offing again with a few more of the south american countries this time maybe.
