Re: exhaust wrap.
Also demonstrates up to a 5% reduction in engine compartment temp on fully faired bikes, although thats not such an issue with side mounted rads on the vtr front pot and pipe, but may help reduce rear pot temp by a fraction. A mate did it on his rsv-r's rear downpipe as it runs so close to the rear ...

13 year old ducati thats never turned a wheel? All new belts and a full rebuild with new seals will be required then. Those spangly Ohlins suspenders will need the same.
Best its left on a plinth after all.

That looks very nice in white. The black frame tops it off nicely too.

Re: Hi All
Interestingly enough the Guzzi was a hoot to ride, the fuel injection was really sharp and it really loved being revved. Handled nicely too but the torque reaction of the crank and shaft drive were offputting until you got used to it. Main problem was the weight though. I did test a storm and a ...

Re: Hi All
Cheers again guys, I'll try to blag a go on one of the team 17-71 storms to get an idea, but in all honesty I've struggled to gel with twins in the past. Owned a Guzzi V11 and did a lot of miles on an RSV-R ape, but about 17 years of running fours is a hard habit to break.

Re: Hi All
Well I should be there on 4th and 5th June (double bank holiday) as Bemsee are there for a meeting and the Thunderbikes are running. Always wanted to try Oulton, looks awesome. We dont get a practice day for that meeting though so I either need to do a trackday there that week and Bivvy ...

Cheers guys. Sent a pm about the leathers, as I can read the sale forum but not post in it.
The ZXR is plenty fast enough for me really, I'm still a rookie and the bike is in no way the limiting factor.

Re: Hi All
Cheers, but getting the piss ripped isnt anywhere near as bad as watching the VTR's hook up and bugger off into the distance on the track.
My old 89 ZXR cant hold a candle to the grunt the 'Storms have firing away up the straights.

Hi All
Evening all, thought I'd drop an intro in here as a courtesy. Not a VTR owner myself but I do race against several of them in the Bemsee Thunderbikes series. I was directed here because of a set of leathers for sale in your pinboard section but thought the polite thing to do would be to say Hi in ...
