One thing I know for sure instead if a VTR is running O.K eave it alone.
I have recently changed my exhaust so I will sync the carbs and do an Idle Drop.
That oughta do eh?
Going for a ride will tell.
Cheers from down under and everyone have a good one.
Merry Xmas From Oz .

Re: Ignition advancer +4
They still are !
I found that the ignition advance smoothed the vibes out.
I rode a standard VTR a while back and it vibrated a lot more than mine.
I have the flywheel as well and as those who have it know, How good it is.
Hope someone on here snapped it up !

Re: Miss Your Storm - Would you? Do You? Why?
Regarding the Storm. After years of ownership and a few other bikes through the cave I have come to the conclusion that the Storm will stay. I have had BMW S1000RR, Aprillia Tuono 2007 model, Aprillia Shiver 750, Aprillia Tuono Rsv4 APRAC, wombles ZX10 , 848 Duc, and a few others that I care to ...

Re: How long have you owned your VTR?
Longer than I care to remember.
The bike I have now is far removed from what I bought.
85,000Klms later and I still love it.
Many bikes have come and gone but the VTR stays!

Re: Write-up on the Carbon Express on motorcycle.com
Jesus Mikey, What a write up ! I can testify to some of the mods you have done and like many on here understand the true meaning of OCMD in relation to the VTR. If you hadn't of helped me with a few mods I am fairly ceryptain that my VTR would be gone. Kudos to you and as an aside I would like to ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Fitted new wavy discs all round with new Brembo Road/ race pads in the front and new standard pads in the rear. Went for a ride and am reasonably happy with the setup at this stage. I had ZCOO pads in the front before and they were sublime however punished the standard discs. As the Corona lockdown ...

Re: Covid 19 virus
Bloody Corona Virus, I've had it for years, it's a habit I picked up in my youth. You should hear the folks at work laugh when I tell them , especially at the moment. I announced at a Sales Meeting that I had it because I had drunk a 6 pack of Corona the night before. A bonus because Corona sales ...

Re: what have you done to your
Finally picked the TL1000R up been waiting for 4 weeks for it to be ready, but it’s had new discs all round calipers stripped and rebuilt new brake reservoir and a buckle in the rear wheel repaired so all I need to do is service her and good to go for the biking season ahead. First impressions d ...

Re: Happy birthday kenmoore
Thanks guys, 2 Bottles of Bourbon and one bottle of Gin later I believe I can say I had a good one ! ( I didn't drink it all, ahem !) Of course there was the obligatory 300 Klm ride on the Storm with a good lashing of throttle. Love the torque! I saw some things on that ride that show cased the ...
