Re: Carb Tuning guide (setting up a Dynojet or Factory Pro kit)

As a side note, like the the needle profiles interestingly that's another area of subtle difference between carbs. The air filled inside the floats is done in accordance with atmospheric pressure of the country, probably filled inside a hyperbaric or barometric chamber. No major concern unless livin...

Re: Homemade motorcycle "most unusual vehicle" stopped on M25

I wonder how that managed to get approved. I expect it being electric and enviro friendly had something to do with it. On an A road I would expect it to be approved as a bicycle is allowed on a A road but not on a Motorway. It's basically a powered cycle without pedals and a cover over it made out o...

Re: Travel advice - what do folks take?

You should have the majority of stuff to get you out of trouble in the Honda toolkit. Just add to that a puncture repair kit, some cable ties, scraps of emergency wire and some terminals, fuses, maybe a small 12v test light, insulating tape and you should be good to go. Oh and some spare bulbs. Anyt...

Re: Carb Tuning guide (setting up a Dynojet or Factory Pro kit)

I agree. Sounds to me like the tuner is just trying to make a sale. Very low throttle opening is down to the pilot and more so the fine tuning of the pilot mixture. Have you tried pulling the choke out to richen the mix ever so slightly to see if that makes a difference. Buying used carbs is like a ...
