Re: What do you want for Christmas?
Apart from the obvious like world peace, cheap petrol and breast implants... My wife is nagging me to make a list so she can buy in plenty of time. Really I don't need anything, but my list has started with these: - Some assorted stainless steel fasteners - A hugger But it's met with frowns, so wha...

Me too! Wind was no problem, but floods were. Had to turn back twice due to impassable roads but apart from that was great. Just finished washing it. Only one 'moment' when I came across a broad expanse of water and to apply industrial style braking. We've more rain forecast for tonight, so going to...

Re: justice league of the firestorm
I picture myself as a venerable sage, old and wise like Yoda, but with smaller ears. I ride to rescue fair maidens (then shag 'em) armed with a lavatory brush and a bottle of Cillit Bang. I will bring tolerance and understanding to any courtroom proceeding where we dispense justice to eering cagers ...

How are you getting on with the Acerbic wind guards?
Any chance of a picture of how they fit?

Re: Cyclist killed at ship and shovel Dagenham.
Very sad news. I cycle the 6 or so miles to work a couple of times per week to try to keep fit and save fuel. I honestly think it's the most dangerous form of transport. More so than my motorbikes, as you can't get of of the way quickly and all traffic has to pass you. Cyclists and motorcyclists are...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Finished fitting my Oxford heated grips and took it out for a run. Temp was 4 degrees so it was cold, but the grips didn't keep my finger ends from going numb. I need some wind deflectors - anyone any ideas?
'twas a nice run though - clear blue skys, roads dry, bike running cock-on !
