Re: Taking a passenger for the first time on my storm.

Thanks guys

The guy wanted to fill my tank as payment but I said nah, pay it forward (cheesy movie quote). I said am sure you will do it for someone else one day.

Anyway he insisted he buy me a Pie while we were at the petrol station. I couldn't refuse that offer. :)

Taking a passenger for the first time on my storm.

Hey Mates I am in New Zealand and was riding from the top of the South Island to Kaikoura (about 130kms). About 30 ks out from getting there I saw someone pushing his bike along the side of the highway. I pulled over to see if he was alright and the muppet had run out of petrol. Being the saint I am...

CCT Issue, do I need to worry??

Hi All I have read a lot about the CCT failures. I believe there is a fix that you guys recommend? I have a 2003 VTR Firestorm with 12,000 km's on the clock. Do I need to worry about this issue? If so can someone please share the link with me as to where I can see how to do it. Thanks in advance! Da...

Mileage

Hey Guys Yes this post is about Fuel usage, now I am not going to be a wonker and complain on how much the FireStorm uses but I have yet to go on my first long ride on mine since getting it 3 weeks ago. (weather has been shite here). The question in how may miles or km's do you guys tend to get on a...

Re: Hey from New Zealand

Hey Grumpyfrog Didn't you know the red ones go faster...thats why the paint fire engines red! I sold the tuono about 8 months ago as I needed some cash at the time. I much prefer a Japanese bike as they seem to be more reliable and far better built. Tuono was a lot of fun but very might maintenance....

Backfire/Popping

Hey team I rode my newly acquired firestorm yesterday and it has a small backfire/pop sometimes when you close the throttle and sometimes when you reopen the trottle, at low speeds I think. My heart sank when I heard this because my Aprilia Tuono was bad for this and the bike mechanics never really ...

Hey from New Zealand

Hey everyone My name is Daniel Woodhouse and am from New Zealand, I hope you don't mind foreigners on your message board. Just got a 2002 model, red, scorpion pipes, only 11,000 k's (6800 miles). Had my first ride on it yesterday, very impressed with it, NOT impressed with the fact that on my maiden...
