The dreaded seat lock gremlin struck today, i looked on here for a solution and found a few however, heres what worked for me. Lifted each corner of rear seat to expose two philips head screws holding the seat fairing, removed these. Lifted front seat just enough to get at the tail fairing allen bol...

Re: Hello from Middlesex

Bit of a trend at the moment this returning to VTR's business, i am a returnee too. I put it down to a number of things but predominantly its possibly the most characterful and best value for money bike available. I worked hard for years to get to a budget that would buy me the latest bikes and now ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Being less of it has improved it...........Kind of. Took the rear to bits tonight, and slackened what i thought would be problem bolts, luckily every nut and bolt moved freely, i guess its more evidence that although the bike looks pretty grim it is actually a low mileage bike that will come up trum...

Re: What's annoyed you today??

Life was so much more simple when we could walk into a store and inspect an item before purchasing. [/quote] I like the idea that i could lathe down to fit the engine mou...

And so it begins

As i have bought this as a bit of a project im not to concerned, the engine is sweet and und...
