It could just be the model of the helmet, not the make. alot of lid manufacturers shel shapes change throughout the range.
there are so many brands to try though...
KBC
OGK
LASER
NOLAN
ARAI
LS2
HJC
NITRO
BELL
The list goes on. Ive had a couple of KBC's and for the money there bang on lids.

Re: Mirrors
They look great and are a testament to your handy work!
I, however do not posess the skills/ patience to do that, it would look a dogs dinner so i may still go down the R1 mirror route!

Re: Help! Starting to get rather annoyed now.
so its a constant noise?Virt wrote:When the wheel is moving basically
the bike isnt moving in a particular way to set of the noise like leanig to the left going round a bend or going over a speed bump. that sort of thing.
if its constant it cant be too much, bearings, brakes, chain, tyre.

Re: Help! Starting to get rather annoyed now.
is the front sproket bolt tight. i had a noise that was driving me nuts on my old exup1000 and it was the nut loose with the sproket moving up and down the drive shaft causing a sawing rubbing sound. is there any lateral play in the chain at the front?

Re: Help! Starting to get rather annoyed now.
can you actually get hold of the wheel and wobble it? side to side or anything. could be a colapsed bearing?
sounds daft but have you checke tyre pressures? could be down a fair few PSI that would make it weave and mayby rub on the swingarm. just a thought.

Re: Help choosing a helmet
You're quite right mate they're not legal for road use and will be marked as such on the visor. However I (touch wood!) have never been pulled for riding with a dark visor on. I have used Iridium and dark race visors with no ill effects, however if you get pulled for something else then stuff like ...

Re: Help choosing a helmet
it certainly does!!! un less you go flip front on the scorpions you dont get a great deal more for your cash with the EXO1000 but the shell shape changes so the 750 or 1000 may not fit as well (or fit better). i love stuff thats unusual or different. thats why we have VTR's!!! we could have a blade ...

Re: Help choosing a helmet
Personal thing but I really don't like the chrome Z on them, I'd consider one if it didn't have that on it you can take it off! depending on the lide its either a bright chrome or a dark one. on the other hand you can (on the scorpion website) really bling them up with all sorts of bits like anodis...
