Ok cheers. Will give him a try but not in a huge hurry to get it done so don't mind waiting.
Have another seat off my spares bike so I'll send that. Cheers for the offer though.

Re: Gel seats
Should say watch out after the summit viewing area. Maybe a mile and a bit later there's a horrible corner all wombles up and off camber too. All three of us had a major wobble going through it and one of us came off.

Re: Gel seats
Grumpy frog,
We were there pretty early so not much was open. By the time we had repaired one of our bikes after a crash on the way down the hill and stuff was open a bunch of herberts on GS's turned up and we legged it back to Loch Carron for lunch.
Great ride made crap by the seat issue.

Gel seats
Who is it that does complete Gel seat refurbs? Had a search but can't find what I'm looking for. Pretty sure there was a bloke/firm on here that were doing good complete gel seat units on sending of a used seat unit. Just done 370 miles in a day on the VTR to Applecross and back and it nearly killed...

There's another yellow one in Bunff, that's my mates. You will often see my red and white one up there too.Don't see many VTRs up here (There's a yellow one in the town, and it's on Gumtree at the moment for a grand

I wouldn't trust a policeman to know the rules of the road. I regularly catch them out and let them know I have.
As posted above, rule 130, bad form to overtake on chevrons. Having said that I might have been tempted if he was going 30 in a 70.

Re: Dremmels etc
Only came with one set, was a while ago, maybe I missed them somehow. No matter, got the real deal now. How does it compare out of interest? B&Q one was OK. Used it to cut out sections of car bodywork that couldn't be done with a normal sized grinder. It took a fair bit of abuse before it gave ...

Re: Dremmels etc
Dremel bits wouldn't fit my old B&Q tool as they were thicker than the B&Q chuck. There's a simple answer to that. Get a dremel to grind down the bits and then they will fit. (:-}) Or fit the other set of jaws that should have come in your box (fnarr). Only came with one set, was a wh...

I used the tube shaped sanding bit to trim my fairing for the VFR bars, worked a treat.

Re: Terror
Chechen or not I don't believe it necessarily follows that you are a terrorist from birth. Me and a mate had a discussion last night about it. He claimed that you were predisposed to be something from birth depending on what country you were born in. Yanks are all insular and arrogant, Scots are all...

M1's are a bit pricey just to get a lovely noise. Any 6 cylinder beemer sounds good. Heres my one, sounds just as good on full chat and it does a lot of anti-lag style pops on overrun for some reason. Don't have any vids of it though. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v289/nickso/e30/Photo-0059.jpg ...

Gymkhana, I really fancy trying this but I'm miles away from anything like that.
