Re: Anybody upgraded to a SSD hard drive?
BTW, I'm using a Kingston Hyper X Pro. But any drive will be worth it. My brother just upgraded to a 500gb Sony EVO 850 and that's blazing fast too, also quite cheap now. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk The 850 also comes with a 5 year warranty which is just ridiculously good and shows how ...

Re: Anybody upgraded to a SSD hard drive?
SSD's are like expensive batteries, by that what I mean is they have a limited amount of times that they can be written too like a rechargeable battery has a limit to how many cycles it can go through. There was a test done recently, modern SSD's can survive into the billions of read/write ...

Re: What's annoyed you today??
BMW is still broken. Bought an oxford oximiser because everyone was saying "clearly the battery has died" despite the fact I told them there was no way it could have, everything was fine then suddenly nope. Charged the bike and guess what? Still wombles, dash is still rarely coming on (let alone ...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
Lifted it up some huge steps into the garden, friends might not be in the best mood with me after that ordeal.. after being cleaned it's decided it doesn't want to start and I've checked all the exposed connections etc. It can be tomorrows problem... It couldn't be angry that it's been polished ...

Re: only 2 more weeks lloydie
Easily
Yeah, so much cheaper to run than the Strom was though. The current insurance quotes I'm getting are about 1/3rd of the price
My brother and dad don't really like it that much, I don't think They prefer their own bikes, which is fine.. Even if they are wrong

Re: only 2 more weeks lloydie
Nah it's not happening. I need my post count to drop and this is not helping. It would be nice to see more action from other members as it's all a bit quite around here. I guess vtr1000.org doesn't help as they are old bikes now and not the most popular so new members are scarce. But ...

Cheers for the (useful) responses, I'll do some review analysis stuff then and see what would be best for me.. Blue tac is not listed as a useful response though  Below is the new bike and the actual damage done to it Carlos; New Bike Accident , so as you can see damage is minor thankfully ...

What earplugs do you use?
So when I came off the other week I destroyed the Bose QC20's I normally wear on the bike. They're basically noise cancelling earphones, cool sh1t (and so good, far better than any ear plugs I've used so far) but they're expensive and I don't want to pay for a new set  I've never liked the ...
