Re: Chain Rivetting

Chain fitment guide.

Buy rip off chain tool for £60

Use it to rivet chain.

Look at it and think, no, that's not done to my satisfaction.

Use a lump hammer and a normal hammer to mushroom the ends of the pins.

Throw useless tool away

enjoy thousands of trouble free chain mileage.

Don't bother getting too carried away, they will just change their name and round it goes. Far too easy to re register on fleecebay.

Re: Mirror extenders for sale

I reckon I need a set of 50mm machined, saw them ages ago and think its a great idea and everytime I ride my storm I love it and think how crap the mirrors are! Is it still £30 posted a set? have you got any black ones?

Re: Rectifier wiring help for mosfet

The mosfet rr's don't kill batteries if they do go wrong (which they dont) they go into safety cut off and just switch off meaning you don't kill stator or battery.

Re: Fork Seals

115kg rider here, standard forks and no issues, never bottomed them out. I did my seals once and they have been fine, but then I don't bounce it up kerbs.

Re: Help needed

small light on the fairing There's no light on the fairing unless you have an alarm LED or something. I would take a guess at that being the root of the cause. Has someone stupidly taken power for it from the brake light switch. No light mounted in the fairing as standard. (:-}) Yes there i...

Where's the best place to get a samco kit for the storm then? Been thinking it would be a nice addition for a while, but not seen any kits.

Re: 'Stealth' speed cameras to be deployed on 300 miles of m

I'm always amazed how many cars fly past me when I'm in the car doing 50mph in the 50mph average speed check zone on a motorway as if they have some special immunity. Nowadays I stick the cruise control at the max speed limit and stick to it - most motorways and way too crowded to go consistently f...

Take it to your local garage, they will have a heavy duty press and will sort it for a few beer tokens.
