The timing marks on mine were a little bit out of line as well, you'll probably find if you move it round one tooth it'll be too far the the other way, it seems on these engines near enough is good enough.even though I turned the engine over by hand first i still had sweaty palms the first time I fl...

I have the same cans on mine and they did the same thing, one baffle fell out somewhere on the road so I took the other one out. Adjust the carbs to Suit running without the baffles it's cheaper, if your not sure how to adjust the carbs look in the workshop section,I seem to remember there's a good ...

Petrol one, I think it's from machine mart, I'm not sure really I borrowed it from my brother a few years ago and he doesn't want it back because he's got nowhere to keep it. I don't use it on the storm though

Not unless it was quite a substantial blow,a slight blow from somewhere near the front of the exhaust(head to down pipe gasket or cracked manifold/down pipe) would give that characteristic loud ticking noise when the engine is under load,it's sometimes hard to find if it only does it under load,the ...

Check for an exhaust blow from the head to down pipe joint, this can give a noise like your describing.
