Re: What are the best footpegs.
I picked up stock looking VFR footpegs on Ebay. They looked much better than the Superhawk rubber pattern. They were chinese knock offs, and the rubber was riveted on, but for only $15 shipped it was cheaper than buying replacement rubber for stock footpegs.

Re: QA/RC45 Throttle Tube
Yep, did mine last year and it was an awesome inexpensive mod... If you swapped the throttle tube and didn't remove the "push" throttle cable, then you're really missing out on a great free mod. Try it and you'll never look back. Better throttle action, very light and easy like a motocross...

It looks nice, though viewing it in Photobucket on a phone is so annoying... And like you said, can't begin to pickup the details.

Why isn't the second "locking nut" tightened against the nut that is against the mcct body?
If the two nuts are not tightened against each other, then the nut against the mcct body will loosen up.

I had mine blasted and powdered for about $30 each. Red Baron Red.
Looks amazing.
They didn't even mask them because overspray on the inside doesn't really matter...

So... Just so i understand... Your wife gave the okay to buy a reliable bike so she can spend more time with you; so you're arranging for a loan, and are considering buying a bike that is in pieces and needs to be put back together??? Have you considered that may not go over as planned? Why not buy ...

Re: Is there a guide to fitting a swingarm brace?
My build thread has a pretty good description, and also quite a few pictures. People asked me detailed questions on the install and i tried to answer as best as i could. Lots of information on it here:

Re: I want to buy manual cam chain tensioners!!
You can make your own using the stock housing with a drill bit, tap, some m8x140mm bolts, and matching nuts, plus acorn nuts... Pretty simple.
Let me know if you want details, i can post them.

After that i smear it with Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish, then use a buffing wheel on an air rotary tool. I wipe it clean with an old ...
