on a run out today and noticed oil on the thread of the cct bolt. it was quite wet with it and guessing this is prob not good.

is it likely to be a seal or buggered?

The 58 looks like a non MOSFET as it has a single plug. The MOSFET have two separate plugs reason being that the regulator and rectifier parts of the internals are separated from each other which is one reason why they are better. ok so went to change headlight bulb today. simple job 5 mins max. aha said the god of chaos let make the old bulb stick in the fitting so you ping the retainer clip off trying to remove it. bugger it...removed bulb and looks like need to reattach retainer once in. ok no probs... aha again, why don't...
