Re: Seat Cowl/Hump
Yeah it's weird cos it doesn't look like it's been resprayed yet I don't think that was a Firestorm colour. I have fitted it on the bike with everyone's help and from the back you wouldn't know but when you look at it from above or the side it's a totally different colour. Pain in the but..should h...

Seat Cowl/Hump
I bought this from ebay recently and it came yesterday, couldn't wait to get it on the bike as I think these really finish the bike off. Anyway after opening it up I was convinced the colour was not quite the same as mine. ( it does look the same on ebay) http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Honda-vtr-firestorm-s...

He even uses Banksy's wording for the add..near exact. That's cheeky.
Nice looking bike though regardless.

Firestorm Breaking
I can't post in the Sales/Wants as I don't have enough posts. Can someone put this in there. I have emailed the guy and he has so far removed the fairing and clocks but nothing is gone yet. He say's he has lost both keys? Might be a blown engine excuse...don't know. http://www.gumtree.com/p/cars-van...

Re: jf you had money to spend on your bike
I would buy another Storm, a good one for about £2k, buy some one piece leathers, new helmet , boots etc and pay someone (a pro) to teach me how to ride my bike round a track.
Included in this I want to fall off to see what it's like, maybe in the wet.

Re: Knee Down or Not Knee Down
When you see it like that in such fantastic clarity(and I'm not being sarky) it really shows how to do it, because your brother's bike is actually the same angle as yours give or take a degree or two.
What about lap times? And have you ever taken the Firestorm to the track?

That's the middle one, about 1/2mile between each one and on an early Sunday morning totally empty.playerone wrote:http://goo.gl/maps/7tpqa doesn't get any better

Re: Carbs popping
Bike is totally standard as far as I know. Standard pipes but the bloke I bought it off listed a par of "FUEL" cans just after I took the bike and after I asked him in his garage "Is there any extras to go with the bike, seat cowl, rack, exhausts..that sort of thing" "No..th...

Knee Down or Not Knee Down
Not knee down for me :( Went out on an early run this morning just outside Galashiels where there is a series of three largish roundabouts. I spent about an hour just constantly going round each about 3 times and then moving on to the next one. Why? I was watching a guy on Youtube http://www.youtube...

Carbs popping
Not sure why this is but took the bike for a run this morning and sometimes I was getting the odd pop and misfire from the carbs. I say the carbs because that's where it seemed to be coming from. It was worse when doing 30mph for a stretch but only popped say 3 times in as many minutes. When it was ...

Re: Newbie questions
Welcome to the nut shop. You do have some grand roads around you, that resurfaced on down there to the temple was a bit slippy mind. That's the Eskdalemuir raod from Ettrick, I heard they resurfaced that and some loose stuff everywhere. We do have some brilliant roads but the trouble is we also hav...

Re: Newbie questions
I'll check that but it did seem OK when I gave it a wobble the other day.
