well, as the replacement user-up of garage space is a Ducati 750SS, I'll be keeping a close eye on Flatline's progress at the very least
At least on the Ducati forums, there's less arguments about colour

Re: Ducati 750ss First time project
I wonder if the third picture down explains partly why this has taken you so long - all this excuse about building rooms for your daughter, workshops and that - you're just using the wrong Haynes, man! Looking great, mate - those wheels do look awesome - almost could pass it off as a GTthou o...

Re: Wire wheels
I love things like that. No wait, that's not right - I love that people do their own thing, regardless of whether anyone else likes it or not. Clever. Good on him!
Personally, don't like the harley-style seat unit, but it's not mine, so who cares!

Re: Will Wales take Moto GP from Silverstone?
I'd very much doubt it - almost every attempt to upgrade or build new tracks in the UK has been a huge disaster unless your name is Palmer. Rockingham was the last half decent attempt but they've had all sorts of bother since. Donington couldn't do it and they had a decent reputation (once pit facil...

Re: Buy Arai??
I know loads of folk rate Arai, but I've had two and they were both rubbish. Well, certainly not worth the money anyway. I bought the second one as I simply couldn't believe the first one was actually that bad. It was.

Re: My list of bikes
Love this thread - great to see what you've all had and the different routes through the biking world. Good stuff  I'll struggle with dates too, mainly cos so many of them shared time in the garage. However, from 1993 to date: Yamaha DT50MX Honda NS125R Suzuki GS500E (with VX800 front end - no...

Re: The Firestorm Diaries
"Want" is such an emotive word, isn't it!? You're right Carl, I don't - but I must. My next project - one I've been contemplating for many years - landed in my lap recently and I can't keep 'em all (the wife says so.. :Argue: .). With my trackbike already gone, I need something with a bit ...

Re: The Firestorm Diaries
If you like shiny, you should take out the two Allen key nuts in the gen cover and give them a good polish, or contact mark to see if he has anymore titanium ones for sale? Probably a bit excessive even for me, AP :) Time to get the manual CCTs fitted. Needed a few other bits of engine work done, s...

Re: great looking twin
They've been trying to develop a decent race Gladius (SFV) for a while now and seem to have succeeded. Looks good, though it's annoying that most of them look like GSXR/675/916s - my track bike (now gone), albeit somewhat lower down the specification ladder than this one , deliberately kept the...

Re: The Firestorm Diaries
next tedious, but bizarrely satisfying, mod was to put stainless bolts in the engine side covers. Nowt wrong with the original ones - they even still looked OK - but I like the shiny stainless thing, so just went ahead and did it. Not much to say, bolts out, bolts in: http://i1284.photobucket.com/al...
