Re: Grassing up drink drivers
I am thinking thet you did not read my post, I do not condone people that are drunk should drive! I mearly stated that it is not illegal to have drink & drive, it is in fact not a lot different to having an accident on your bike & killing an innocent party when dicing with your mate or gener...

Found time to strip the carbs of today, hoping to find a dynojet kit! no such luck, completly standard, choke cable knackered, seems to be sticking on, hopefully a new one will sort it, the annoying thing is that one of the rubber pieces that hold the cable into the carb is split and it comes with t...

Re: DSynojet kit
I think that the reason for drilling the slide is to allow the slide to lift correctly when used with a less restrictive air cleaner, its the depression (low pressure) that causes the slide to lift, so clearly if the restrictions upstream af the carb are changed the slide needs to be adjusted. I hav...

Re: Motorcycle mechanics courses/training
You could get a job at a dealer, work hard & learn for maybe 5 years only to find that the job pays crap & you need to buy & repair a few old bikes just to make ends meet.
Not so much fun really.
