Kawasaki S1C 250 triple (1975)

So, here it is! My little Kawasaki is for sale. First things first, I'm asking £4,700 for the bike. It's the Kawasaki S1C 250 two stroke triple. Largely original and fabulous condition, no nasty bits, no hidden gremlins, not messed with or modified! Showing 4,850 miles...looking at the condition thi...

Can I advertise my Kawasaki in this area?

As you know I am a long time Storm owner and long time member.
Just checking if I can put my S1C on this area without treading on any toes? I value the forum and it's members and don't want to take advantage....
Just checking first!

Re: Phwoar!

This 'Yard Built' idea from Yamaha is brilliant. There was an interview about the concept in one of my bike mags with the head guy....I'll dig it out...think it was 'Faster Son'?
Deus and the like will be keeping an eye on these guys....

Ahhh.. a fair way up the coast then...near Bamburgh Castle? ..that's just over an hour north for us. Lovely area.

Re: Smitten again....

Looks like the road to St Mary's lighthouse (but could be lots of places). Canada famously used photos of the NE coast on their tourist promotion literature. Me? I've been ragging up and down the A68 on the Storm, finding a few tank-slapper bumpy bits and getting my first bollock crusher. Today it ...

Smitten again....

Been a while since I was out on the 'Storm...sad to admit I'm a fair weather rider and living 'Up North' meant the first decent riding day (for a softy like me) was this week! Quick 80 miles or so through Morpeth, Widdrington and back down the coast to Whitley Bay. I forgot just how much fun can be ...

Re: Ariel Atom

That aint like a crossbow, there far better. Mine is a Honda 2.25 Supercharged with Bilsteign Suspension, dymag wheels and about 328bhp but about 760kg. It will outperform most bikes not by outride speed but by the cornering and the Brakes. Ive tracked it and most supercars still struggle to keep i...

Ariel Atom

Had a drive in an Atom yesterday...one of those Driving Gift events...(birthday treat). It was a 2 litre Honda Type R engine, apparently supercharged. Owner / driver said it was 350 bhp and 300+ ft/lbs, and it felt like it! Felt about as quick as the Storm, but it's hard to compare 2 wheels to 4. I ...

Clutch slave change

When I parked the 'Storm in November I noticed a drip of fluid from the clutch slave. Sourced a replacement from the forum (thanks Tony) and finally got round to fitting it today. Shame on me for not replacing the fluid before it got to this, but wow, could not believe the crap fluid that came out o...

Re: opinions on 50th anniversery bike for sale

Does look a bit expensive, but I noticed that all the older bikes are starting to creep up in value...good when you're selling, bad when you're buying.... :?

Just ordered my engine oil and K&N oil filters from these guys...always find them good to deal with. (No, I'm not a rep for Opie!).
