Re: Another exhaust question.
Oh my, oh my, oh my! I carried out the full bafflectomy today and oh my! My bike now sounds like a beast! Thank you all for the "how-to". That last part of the operation really is a pain in the butt though, when trying to pull the pipe out. Anyhow, i took the bike for a quick ride around the block ...

Re: Another exhaust question.
Just had a look on YouTube for VTRs and bafflectomy. I'm impressed with the grumble, and this is what i'm after http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ewv8jojG5_s But then i found this, and this is similar to what my bike sounds like now, clackety and more of a phfft, than a bassy grumble - what's the ...

Re: Another exhaust question.
I guess i'm after that low bassy sound that vibrates through you, from the thumping V-Twins, rather than all out volume. And i can only assume that i won't get that unless i swap the end cans over.

Re: Another exhaust question.
I drilled four holes, each about 8mm in size. It does sound a lot better than before, as in i can actully hear it now, but it's more of a putt putt putt sound, rather than a smooth deep grumble. Ultimately i am after something that sounds like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhTVCbw68kI It ...

Re: Another exhaust question.
the full baffelectomy isnt loud its just right . try one hole at a time in both cans on the outer edge till you get the sound you like . keeping the holes on the edge makes it easier if you choose to do it fully as there will be less to clean up . I have standard cans on my VTR. I don't mind the ...

Re: Litecoin
Hi guys, I'm new to this site, but i saw the title and have to ask about kit to buy. I've been looking at 3 x R9 290x cards. From what i've read on the GPU comparison site, they will draw about 300W each, but could obtain a KH/s of about 990. I'm guessing a 1250W PSU is in order, but i'm not sure ...

Re: Hello Newbie Firestorm owner :)
oh there are definitely many different brands to choose from on ebay, but i don't know how they sound.
But the ones that impressed me the most were the Devil cans, which seem to be like rocking horse poo.
What is this process you talk about, with the standard cans?

Hello Newbie Firestorm owner :)
Hello all, I'm a newbie here and was informed of this site by one of the locals on another motoring website. I recently picked up a 1997 Firestorm to ride during the winter, whilst my Aprilia RSVR is retired to the garage, and i'm very impressed with the bike so far and they do sound great, even ...
