Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Actually got her started today......now to go through all the fun of tuning the carbs once again as I am now at 5K feet. So its time for a second Flo-Commander, this one for the pilot circuit, as I really don't want to run smaller pilots and it looks like I need to be able to run from around 7K to ...

Re: Banned for life.....

Well just got kicked off the US SH site..... I guess I shouldn't have been honest when the question of "why is this place so slow and no one posts much" was asked. I mean all I said was that I refrain from posting much because there was the dreaded brake pad thread and I dared to state my...

Re: Water Proofs ???????

Take a look at some of the rain gear that is being sold by outdoor/hiking/camping retailers. I purchased these last year. Forgot how expensive they were, but they kept me dry. Also pack down to a reasonably small size. https://www.rei.com/product/127340/rei-co-op-rainier-full-zip-rain-pants-mens-tall

Re: HJC Helmets

I was looking at the skull caps on ebay but don't know if they'd work, anyone used them ? Have used one from day one, but not because of any vanity reasons. Does it keep my rapidly thinning hair less bazaar when I take the lid off? Maybe. I use one because it keeps the liner of the helmet cleaner m...

Made an Abba type stand from info found on this thread (a big thank you to bikerpiker). http://www.vtr1000.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=12471&hilit=ABBA&sid=f57b889dc1cd14304a9f74c9daeab911 I'm very pleased with how it works. Lifts the rear wheel with only a light load on the front. I ...

Re: Lithium Battery Charging / Maintainance

It's the intelligent charger's deep conditioning cycles that can damage a Li battery, not the charging itself. And we know that the storm's standard charging circuit via the reg rec can output up to 15.5 volts. But this doesn't seem to damage the Li battery at all . That's because a fully charged L...

Well done.
Would be nice if you could just eliminate the exhaust bracket.
Bet your neighbors love the sound of a big V-twin in the AM.

Re: Where are they getting these prices?!

The wife said "sell that thing". So in the classifieds it goes for a price. "Yes dear, I have listed for sale, but no one wants it".
