Re: Tyres - PR3 or PR4?
I have PR3’s on my Storm and a combination of 3’s & 4’s on my Bandit. Both seem to suite these bikes.

Re: Scarlett's Back
Thanks all. :thumbup: I love the Delkavics. At 350mm its not a deep note like the longer Yoshi's or other cans but she has a real upper range bark :) On the Bandit v Storm question. Its a tough one. They're so different and thats why I got the V2. The Bandit is faster I have no doubt about that and...

Yesterday's ride to work was 4 deg c which is cool enough :) Was 2c today but I have gym tonight and extra gear means I drive on gym days :( Thanks all. :thumbup: I love the Delkavics. Re: this pc any good just need desktop
It wont do much more than surf the net and email. 64bit at 8gb is very light on for a Windows PC and i3 processor is by no means the cream of the crop. How much 64bit software do you have? Probably better off with 32bit W8 and a bit more ram. Personally I'm a Mac convert but you cant beat a PC on pr...

Scarlett's Back
So its winter here in Australia but us serious riders still ride :mrgreen: I've just got my Storm back from having a long list of mods/repairs done and I couldnt help going for a lap around town during my lunch break. Scarlett now has fully rebuilt carbies including diaphragms which after a lot of h...

Re: Fuel leak from below carbs, Help !
The carbs have overflow tubes so I'd be checking them.
The petcock is vacuum operated so no need to access it very often but they do fail.
Mine failed and filled my sump with fuel over 3 or 4 days!
Put a new diaphragm kit in the petcock would be my first bit of advice after checking the oil level.

Re: Vtr newbie
Welcome aboard. I hope she's had all the reliabillity work done already. My advice would be to work out a potential parts list and buy them all now because Honda are bloody pathetic at parts supply if you're looking for anything OEM for these beasts. Waiting 3 weeks for a pair of #48 & #45 pilot...

Re: LEVER FITTING
Mine were easy to fit except I had to have the front brakes bled for some reason. I think the piston must have backed out a fraction.
Fitting = easy
Brakes = bitch

Re: chain lube
I use a combination of a Dupont chain wax and WD40
I just cant get my head around a dry looking chain being lubed enough
Plus WD40 is easy to get off the rim of it flings off

Re: V8 engine
The castings of the outer cylinders would need to be enormous.
