Right side standard exhaust

The joint holding my right side can on has has been eaten by rust worms :( :( So I'm looking for a standard right sided exhaust can with its baffle intact so the air comes out of the end not the middle of the exhaust!. Doesn't need to be mint as my poor storm has seen a few miles and isn't mint hers...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Replaced the knackered front head that spat its spark plug out at the end of last year (well I replaced the head about 6 weeks ago). :D Just in time to crash my old fireblade at Snetteron. :( Then the front brakes develop a wobble so strip them down. :( One sticky piston sorted and a slightly warped...

Front cylinder head wanted

Seems they are a bit rare though (because of the whole CCT thing I guess?) and can't find one on ebay. Anyo...

Re: Spark plug popped out

I suspect you are right on the new head front. Can't see any other way really. Never tried Helicoils; just replaced the bits in the past.

Unfortunately it is the front one which seem to be harder to come by. Presumably because of CCT failure...

Spark plug popped out

Spirited ride home two or three nights ago nights ago and all of a sudden lots of banging 8O 8O 8O Thought the worst that the CCTs had gone and that I hadn't done the stopper mod properly. Had a quick look on a dark road and soon worked out that the spark plug had popped out. Not sure that is suppos...

Re: what have you done to your

Not really today, more last weekend.... Got rid of the Renthal handlebars that have been on there since I got it. Replaced with some old Fireblade clip-ons as it has a very early 'blade fork on it. Handling feels better and less wheelie prone at the same throttle but damn they are low (non-standard...
