Ive just done an insurance quote on mine listing all the mods and the colour change from red to white and it was only £83 fully comp. have I missed something? should it be more?

Had a nightmare of a job refitting the carbs. Ended up heating, greasing, grunting and groaning to get them on. I loosened the bolts on the surround brackety thing. In doing so I managed to break the TPS. Honda wanted £154 for a new one. Got one for £17 on eBay but broke it when fitting. Exactly the...

I now pay more to tax my bikes than insure them! £79 to insure my 11 plate Tiger fully comp £83 for the storm. Crazy

speaking of mirrors. does anyone know if the two bolts used on the mirrors is a standard size for mirrors? I was hoping to put some from another manufacturer on with indicators built in. just wondering if anyone knew?

Standard shock. Exhaust is being made once I've fitted the subframe on it as that will all be different too.

I have the swing arm the new custom brackets for the rear suspension and all the original firestorm foot pegs and bits. Do I need more than that then?

sorry to post on an old thread but does anyone have a detailed plan of how the swing arm assembly fits back including any new spacers needed? I have all the bits but have some strange gaps appearing between the foot pegs, swingarm, engine so on. So could ideally do with some help.

Carb refitting advice

Anyone had trouble refitting the carbs after removal? They don't seem to line up at all when I'm offering them up. a good few mm out. Don't want to be to forceful with it but cant seem to get it to go. Any thoughts?
