Re: Bike running but bogs down !

Some things to check: Make sure the cam timing isn't 180 degrees out. Check the jetting in the carbs, could be someone has screwed up the fueling. Also check the filter. Anything other than standard has a tendency to screw the fueling up especially with those stubby cans. They won't be helping. It s...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Fitted a couple of spacers I made to fill that gap created by using Mori velocity stacks with a standard airbox. No excuse now, time to start riding it - off to the Dainese store in Manchester tomorrow to try and find some 2-piece leathers. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240526/fabd5936b578a157d...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Gave it a bit of a clean and fitted the captive wheel spacers I made.

Re: Undertray

This sort. I've just bought one from fleabay but it's pretty tatty. If you have one like this I'd be interested. Image

Not the stock one. I'm looking for one of the aftermarket types that covers all that.

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

I pulled the carbs off, again, to trace the source of a leak on the rear carb. I think this is the first time on this bike an issue has been straight forward to resolve - I'd pinched the float bowl seal when refitted. New part on order.

I've just caught up with this. Great job Fabio. Looks like it's been repainted too so some serious cleaning you've done there.

Tidy Czech lower yolks in place. Great job by Stepan. On reflection they looked better as plain metal but they're not really seen. At some point I'll get SS bolts to replace the black ones. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240422/af2bc9352ef0f1550106ea21e4ce3b11.jpg Sent from my Pixel 5 using Tapa...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today

Balanced the carbs and set the TPS. I also pulled the fairing off ready to take out the front end tomorrow. A little bit of Czech bling is going in.

Re: From 107 to 128

Woohoo. It's running again. I had the carbs ultrasonically cleaned, just to be sure but I'm convinced the problems were a weak battery and poor fuelling. The Ultrabatt lithium batteries are modular so adding a second one in parallel gives 600CCA and 10ah for just over 1.6kg. No turning over issues n...
