does anyone know if the japan CDI unties differ form other countries units other than the speed cut at 200 kmph ? was looking to change mine and was wondering if it as simple as switching them over

also with a speed cut would the restrictors come hand in hand as the japs needed their bikes restricted for their market?

i"m in hastings, its at 200kph this is achievable in about 4th and gets there with very little struggle, i would like a bit of track use and this could become a pain. Also the bike feels choked, just thought the bike may be restricted somewhere, has zero titanium pipes which may mean the airbox has ...

Hay there im from NZ and just purchased a 97 vtr 1000. I love it but am a bit worried it may be restricted as it has a spped cut. any ideas if it will have a carb reducer and any other restrictors?
