Re: 2001 VTR £825 or may break. P/X track bike?

I can email pics if required.

Also got other bits I'm thinking of selling, including front and rear wheels shod with good supercorsas on I may sell. Only uncertain as they will also fit my other storm and cbr.

Picture hosting, what's best?

I've tons of pictures on my iPhone I want to share some. I've used photo bucket over the years but found it a bit problematic.

Any suggestions?
(Please assume I'm a bit thick. ....... easy if you knew me) :?

In the past I've emailed from my phone to photo bucket then used links. Just hard work!

Re: Fitting CCT's shortcut?

Personally I wouldn't mess about, remove both cam covers and make sure you're doing the job properly, it's not that much more work, Chris. Its how I did the front head and checked the rear. The real point was that some don't do it properly and 'get away with it' wonder if some have tried,...

Re: Fitting CCT's shortcut?

VTR's Its not something I would have recommended, its just meeting owners who have done it and 'got away with it'. Other bikes don't have the same potential problem. Don't get me wrong, its very unlikely I would 'chance' doing the shortcut, Im more interested how many have actually done it and been ...

Fitting CCT's shortcut?

I need to fit manual CCT's in one of my Storms, Ive looked at the workshop instructions and actually ok with the procedure and have rebuilt the front head and put auto cct in for now timed up and running great. A couple of people Ive met have just replaced the cct's without the precautionary timing ...

Re: Flat Bar Conversion.

Are these vtr specific? One of mine already has riser for streetfighter but other has blade forks, bigger diameter. Being extremely old the streetfighter is an easier ride.
Although less comfortable 'at speed'.

Re: Short term insurance?

Tried them in comparison with gocompare, just pennies different for 12 months. To get short term insurance it seems I have to ring the 0844 numbers (cant just now). It states on website though "from £31.80" Im guessing thats for a peugeot speedflight with 20 years ncd and 15 min on an 0844...

Short term insurance?

So Im looking at putting a cbr600 Ive just got on the road, issue is that I dont know if I'll like it enough to keep unless I try it out. So a 12 month policy is £100, and if I dont like it after an hour or day, I cancel but the fee is £30 plus you lose part of your premium. I used to dayinsure cars...

Re: J&s 25/7 4 in one day!

The pictures are flattering tbh. They both look Good at 20' away! Few zip ties here and there. Yes laser on the red bike but need new hangers really and a dent or two Both look smashing in the pics tho :-) Amazing how different they all sound, the black bike wins for me, tri ovals. Like thunder! Ver...
