Re: Cybercarl

A bit of belated feedback, but at least i didn't have to be prompted this time :)

I reckon Carl must be one of the UK's lead experts on VTRs, an excellent mechanic, full of good tips and he really can fix your ccts in about 2 hours flat! Ignore this man's advice at your peril!

Re: AgentPineapple

I forgot to provide feedback and have been publicly chastised. And rightly so! For though I speak not under duress, this guy is a truly top bloke who always seems ready to help another forum member. He's readily hosted the fitting of my manual ccts, plied me with tea and cake, replaced my leaking pe...

Re: MacV2

Just to say how happy I am with the new LED indicators Mac supplied and fitted for me, think they look (and flash) just right. And the disk lock's good too, just need to get one of those hi vis telephone cord things now to attach it to the handlebar before I forget it's there and drive off, which c...

Re: E-petition - abolish m'cycle road tax

In the news last week were Boris's latest plans to tax vehicles in London- a pollution/emissions tax pitched at £12.50 a day for polluting vehicles incl. motorbikes (and taxis AP!) that aren't v low emission. I actually find it hard to argue against this as recent air quality research sugests that p...

Re: Full to empty-

Just measured my fuel usage properly for the first time- I did 133 miles on 16 litres which is 37.8mpg. I guess that's about what you'd expect from a fairly-lively-for-a-newbie blat to the Isle of Grain plus stuff around London. Also, the handbook says 2.8 litres in reserve, so that's about 23 miles...
