Storm 1 has been laid up for a while so i gave her a start this afternoon with no problems. But when i tried indicators - nothing!!! Either side - nothing. Presumed switcg was gummed up so split it and gave it a liberal dousing in contact cleaner - still nothing Is it possible flasher unit has gone ...

Just checked the battery and its a mtbx12 although not a motobatt

But i tried one of the techniques that had been suggested and one of them works !!

Tiny bit of choke and when it fires give it more choke and bingo it starts !!!

I'll keep trying it though!!!

Whats the thinking on which Motobatt?

There are two listed for the storm - mtbx9 and mtbx12

The 12 is slightly taller but has more cranking power

Thoughts ?

My second storm, the one with the race cans doent like starting. Its best chance is with no choke at all and even then it just offers then stops - if i pull choke on it seems a bit lazy on start.
