The LSL Fatbar risers arrived and I set about taking off the Renthal Ultra low. Rode it around and loved them...then... The fairing came back from it's second chopping session :( No way the Fatbars are gonna work, they are a good 100mm too high...dammit !! Back to the Ultra Low bars which now fit pe...

It has to make contact with the bikes frame or otherwise designed stop, if different, without touching anything else, like the fairing...he said !

Bikes now in bits again :( Failed MOT, as 2mm away from full lock on steering. Fairing has gone off to have another 10mm removed and whilst that is being done, I am changing to Fat Bars and losing the Renthal Grips for softer Prolites. Also gonna do the hoses again and fit a smaller brake fluid rese...

KTM 1290 for me or the MT-09 Tracer or Ducati Multistrada

All too expensive for the 10 times a year I go on a ride.

The standard bars have a big weight internally, not just the bar ends, to damp down the bars. Don't know what the other guys have done but I expect you will have to expect some vibes. Also make sure your carbs are fully sync'd as that will help with cutting down vibration in general. Looks good BTW...

The fairing is back looking perfect, New brake and Clutch Hoses are fitted (well, routed and attached). Double bubble screen is on and new pretty levers fitted to clutch and front brake. Oh, and the top yoke !!! Now that's where I have to contain myself. :roll: I have had to order in some of the LSL...

That fine as I short fat santa shaped...

I have bought a double bubble Airblade one for now to see if that will do ?

Top Yoke due today, so hopefully start putting it together over the weekend

Sent the fairing off today to be chopped professionally and then resprayed so it looks original again.

Still waiting for top yoke, hopefully two will arrive together and the whole thing can be put back to a rideable bike in one neat job.
