Re: Coil packs

My storm seems to have a intermittent fault. it’s starts Ride’s fine but every now and then when riding it will splutter/miss then stall. It will not fire up straight away but if I leave it a couple of mins it’s back to being fine. I have checked breathers/drain hole changed air filter/plugs etc. I’...

Coil packs

I know the info I’m after is on here somewhere but I can’t find it so here goes. I have had several running issues, after changing the obvious stuff I’ve now decided to change the coil packs. Could anyone here advise which packs to go for? Original manufacturers or something else? And also a “how to...

Re: Running trouble.

I have blown through the drain hole seems clear, I have put some silicon grease round spark plug ht lead so hopefully this will sort it. Nothing worse than going down motorway and then it just splutters and comes to a stop fingers crossed 🤞🏻 thanks for advice/help 👍🏻

Re: Fitted new chain and sorockets

Yeah I checked that. The wheel spins freely without the rear brake fitted, so I’m guessing it’s as Tony above said with regards to the pistons in the calliper. I’m going to strip it down today.

Re: Fitted new chain and sorockets

Just a update, I took the rear brake calliper off and the rear wheel spins more freely, I guessing it’s just resistance when the brake pads touch the disc.

Re: Fitted new chain and sorockets

I’m not sure if the rear brake is binding where I tightened the front sprocket up. The bearings were greased along with the axle when I put it back together. I’m sure there should be a bit of resistance when spinning the wheel I think I’m just paranoid...
