Check the vacuum hose / fuel tap diaphragm for splits - maybe also up the idle a tad to avoid it stalling from carb farts >1200-1300rpm.

You caan drop an inch with a comfort kit adjusters - though rear brake needs a bit of foot lifting to apply. Gear lever can be adjusted to suit.

I can see the attraction. They don't take up much space carried on the train, and small enough to stick under your desk in the office, so nil chance of it being nicked. And the office lunchtime gp would be a laugh.......once round Accounts, left at the water cooler and first into the canteen wins. ...

Concur on the bus lanes In my town you can ride a bike in bus lanes - in Ipswich you can't. Wish there was some consistency. Not keen on the leccy scooters flitting about like Mayflys - illegal except if you hire them in town where they are being tested. But if they become widespread which is likely...

If it hasn't already got an aftermarket can / or you want a bit more of a burble* then this is a good value SS replacement with removeable baffle and fits with the pannier racks. *with the baffle in sounds stock and without not VTR loud! but a bit more burbly. https://delkevic.co.uk/Honda/XL650V%20T...

It's not a jdm model already unrestricted and full power version. The Japanese version has 92hp and eu version. 109 c
It might still have carb intake restrictors depending on which EU country it came from.
