Re: Cam/valve cover gaskets
is it leaking or are you planning to take the cam covers off?
As Tony said you only usually need a light smear of silicone gasket and care to keep the gasket in place when putting the covers back on.

Re: Hi guys
Greetings Seems like a 'cut & shut' job using VTR/VFR - Does it have the VTR's V2 engine or did they use the V4 engine? What did the previous owner say about the bike to explain the mash-up? Usually folk cut & shut VTRs with the racier VTR SP version as they're worth more. https://p198.p4.n0...

Re: MakeHondaVTRAliveAgain
If Honda did a VTR sport tourer redux more chance of it using a parallel twin motor say from CRF1100 - already with FI for emissions etc. than developing old VTR / VTR SP motor or another V2 from scratch. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/18/cc/9e/18cc9e1438b94299f085bd6041593052.jpg https://p198.p4.n0...

Re: Hello - a new VTR rider
Looking clean, tidy and unmolested Is it a wigggle and persist or is there a trick to opening it? Twiddle the key - and pull the seat back and up at the same time. Thank you.
