Re: Handle bar ends
Yes, I appear to have all the pieces. All the internal parts are joined together, and can be slid down the tube until the lip sits flush with the end of the bar. It's a fairly tight fit, but just not enough. I thought by inserting the screw with the end piece, it would expand or something to lock it...

Handle bar ends
Hi guys, I've had to refit the original handle bars as the aftermarkets fitted by the previous owner would have failed the MOT. My question is, the end caps don't seem to sit tight, and can easily be pulled out of the bars. There is a long cylinder type part that I slid out and put back in the origi...

Re: what have you done to your "bike" today
I've fitted a Scottoiler to keep my new chain and sprocket in a tip top condition, and fitted the original bars as the ones put on by the previous owner are an MOT failure according to my mechanic.

Just wanted to thank GingerBeardMan for the advice and PM on the bolts required. Credit to Llyodie for the initial list too. Complete set ordered for just under £20.

Re: Engine cover bolt sizes and others
Does anyone know the size of bolt required when upgrading the reg rec to a R1 one? I believe it's thicker, so the bolt needs to be longer.

Re: fukyfukfuk fek...
I did the same last weekend attempting a turn in the road. Only had the bike a couple of days, and it's a little heavier that my 650. Needless to say, it ended up on its side, resting against the standard exhaust and I still had a hold of the handle bars... I whipped it back up quick, and hurt my ba...

Re: Hello fellow Stormers!
Ha, my mate told me to get a black one... Said they're faster haha. Had a new chain and sprocket yesterday, so fitted a scottoiler yesterday. Just waiting for the reg rec from the states and that'll be changed asap. Don't suppose anyone knows the bolt size for the reg rec as I believe the R1 one is ...

Re: Engine cover bolt sizes and others
That's great, thanks for that. I've emailed him the list across now... I don't think I need all of them, but may as well just replace them all.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Re: Engine cover bolt sizes and others
Hi guys, The previous owner of my Storm has fitted pink aluminium bolts which need to go. I was going to do each one individually, but to save time is this list still correct? Stainless steel Allen cap heads 1xm6@80mm 3xm6@65mm 2xm6@60mm 8xm6@45mm 8xm6@40mm 4xm6@35mm 14xm6@30mm 1xm6@20mm + 45 m6 was...
