VANSTUB... who knows best K tech or Brookes suspension*.... I'll tell you...K tech, no question. they also agree with my findings which I came to 16 years ago, before this forum and before K tech.. Yes I have 0.85kg K tech springs in mine, they are drop in using the standard spacers, I have 10wt oil and 140mm air gap, preload set to 25mm, forks dropped 5mm through, you need to drop front as the springs make the bike sit higher at the front (as standard they sag more), might go down another 5m...

thanks Mac was thinking of inviting myself to Grainstorm as well but don't know if i can wait that long i've got the mod bug already aaarrgghhhhh :oops: and only had bike 4 mths :confused Bear in mind you'll be doing the work yourself, with someone checking up and making sure you don't mess it up.....

happy days then :biggrin and weres the best place to source the steering stem bearings as i might as well jump in neck deep and sort it all out at Grainstorm.i feel the pressure already,some initiation :crazy: :end: Even if it's not spot on for your weight it'll be light years from standard...

i'm about 13 1/2 stone jeans and a t shirt a stone heavier with my winter kit on :thumbup: For your weight 0.85 Springs will be right for road riding and some track work. 0.875 -0.90 may be better for very fast track work and racing, but it's down to personal preference then. If you get them set up...
