Re: Oliver's Mount spring cup meeting April 13/14

Have a good time Tony, can't make it for this meeting got family over. I am nipping out to test ride a Triumph 400 tomorrow at a local bike/car meeting place. It's called NY500 just south of Pickering not far from Scarborough, well worth a visit there if you've got time.

I fitted manual adjusters after the bikes 3rd CCT failure, done about 30,000 miles since over 15 years. Haven't adjusted them yet.

Waterless cleaning.

I had a guy come round to do a waterless wash/paint protection treatment on 2 of my bikes this week. Took him 3.5 hours to do both bikes. Very impressed with results. Benelli was very clean before so didn't take long, the Kawasaki I can say is now as clean as when I bought it 9 years ago. Method he ...

I'm sure you'll have a good time, take your walking boots some steep banks to walk up/down. Hope weather is good for it. Fairly local for me, if I'm going I'll say nearer time. One of my favourite viewpoints there is Jefferies jump named in honour of David Jefferies mentioned in my post about his un...

Nick Jefferies talk

Went to a talk organised by Norton AJS owners club in North Cave village near me the other night. It was Nick Jefferies brother of Tony, uncle to David son of Allan. Yorkshire family of motorcyle racers/dealers. He raced for Honda, raced the Britten V1000 etc. They lived the life, told about being p...
