Well, as it was only 15 miles away and a good price, I just had to buy it.
I welcome Ginge to the Smondo VTR family.

Re: GrainStorm VII April 23rd.
Hello all, yes indeed a good meeting and my first at a vtr1000.org event. It is true that "you meet the nicest people on a Honda". Journey back to Norfolk was not pleasant againt that wind, but no rain. Now, Mac, as I am not permitted PM's, I'll post on here the link that I told you about,...

Morning all, is there room for another on Saturday? I'll be travelling home to Norfolk from Ramsgate on Saturday, so thought it would be a good oppertunity to pop in for a visit. I have found how to get to yours, unless you've moved in the past few years. Cheers.

Happy Birthday - 25th anniversary of the 'storm
Hello from sunny Heacham, this anniversary is looming, has anyone got plans of a meeting to celebrate it? Looking through old cuttings from my scrapbook, the first picture of a 'storm (as we know them), that I have is in MCN dated October 1996, so that gives us just over a year to sort something out...

Re: Another hello from Norfolk
Hello again fellow Firestormers, just a quick update from sunny Heacham. Red bike is still refusing to fire on front cylinder, post Snetterton soaking it got years ago, new (to me ) black bike has been looked over and ok, and yellow bike is now in bits, with engine, carbs and airbox at uncle Rogers,...

Re: Another hello from Norfolk
Hello all, Fabiostar, I still have red bike, but after going onto one cylinder during a Snetterton trackday quite a few years ago, I left in garage to gather dust for a long while. This weekend it is getting a good clean up, as am taking it on its travels to see Roger D next month. He's not seen thi...

Re: Another hello from Norfolk
Hello all, it's about time I wrote some more, so her're a couple more points of interest. I've only gone and done it, yes, I've bought another one. Was looking on Ebay to see if a black Firestorm with yellow graphics was for sale. Yes, there was one and where was it, only 14 miles down the road in K...

Re: Another hello from Norfolk
Mr Yeti, as I am new, I can't p.m. you back, but yes swing arm is an over-braced stardard one. Forks were standard, but now have '97 Fireblade ones fitted. Only hint I have to original forks, I found a 2" bracket for a steering damper. Could this have been fitted to 51mm Paoli usd forks? Exhaus...

Re: Another hello from Norfolk
Yo, when I bought the bike it had a standard engine in it, as the tuned one had blown. The valves had fought the piston on one cylinder and neither won. Still got the head, as has mechanics name (Keith Whitting) and Honda Britain engraved on it, bit of a mess inside though. So, had engine rebuilt. G...

Another hello from Norfolk
Good day people, I am in West Norfolk and have been a Firestorm owner since March 1997. Since 2001, I have been the owner of two Firestorms, (I know, greedy git). The second one is a bit special though, and will interest a few on this site, especially the likes of Mr bladeade. Yesterday I used the s...
