drilled both sides out, took about an hour in total so wasn't too bad! engines in with thanks to squiffy for help with parts and such, running better but my surging issue is back! will pull the plugs and stick some new ones in and hope. now got 2 and a half engines laying around and a full vtr in bi...

managed to get another engine, 28k miles on the clock for £200, only problem is one of the engine mounting bolts in the front cylinder is seized in place so have to drill it out.

feel ripped off somewhat haha, fixing the engine seems the best option for me now, or atleast strip it and see.
