Engineer in london

Hi guys and gals.

Bit out of touch with a decent engineer, fabricator etc. The guy I used to use has now packed up shop.

Looking for a decent fabricator / engineer in and around london, someone who can help me out with pressing a yoke stem and and machining a wheel spindle. Simple stuff.

Thanks!

Re: Cooling it

Just a few comments that may or may not help. The tube in the expansion bottle should always be covered with coolant, hot and cold. If not there is a danger of pulling air in when the system cools down. The rad cap actually has a high pressure and low pressure flow. Air in the cooling pack is not d...

Re: Cooling it

The fan works 100 percent. The system cooling system is pressurised before the cap, but when its past the cap and in the coolant res its un-pressurised , which would allow it to boil. The only thing i can add is if you pull the overflow pipe out of the coolant res when its hot, there's a good flow ...

Re: Cooling it

It sounds like the radiator cap to me as well. Basically a pressurised system will run hotter without boiling, than a non-pressurised system which you will have if the radiator cap is not functioning as it should. Also, if you've not already, check the fan is working, Chris. The fan works 100 perce...
