So yesterday i went to work, started at 12 pm and finshed at 8pm when i ttied to start her she turned over but didnt fire up. Now i tried again and the baterry died, this was after one attempt to start not several, at first you could tell it was turning over with plenty of batery life. The question ...

bolts out :beer: bent the funnel and will be easy to re-sit now just need new bolts. i was able to use a flat blade to unscrew the broken part of the bolt took 20 mins of steady movement but its out :clap:

thanks all now off the road till new bolts arrive

Pretty wombles

So one of the rocker cover bolts has snapped but was only finger tight so might be able to get the snapped bit out but wombles me the screw on the large funnel on the airbox has rounded off so can't even remove the air box to get at the thing i have no clue what to do now and wish i had just paid ...

First let me start by thanking everyone for their advice and support :thumbup: Now its seems the leak was on both cams and from what I can see(after checking the seal and other bolts) its is just those two bolts. Rear is done and added sealant, front i can get at without removing everything. but it ...

Sorted and now a new problem the right side top cam bolt is leaking oil, front cylinder. just spitting from the bolt checked the seal and its dry.loveley smell of burnt oil in the house Mrs hates me.

Whats the minimum i have to remove to get at the bolt to check its tight

ok all back started fine sounded great then die can start it with choke but any throttle and she dies ideas

Figure it out i was reading wrong i thought there was a different part for getting the com strokes right as in one both sides.

Back on track now although its not a 2 and half hour job when ya a novice already 5 hours in

Ok bikes stripped and ready but i am lost.

next part is the rear cylinder and then the front i assume and i have no clue where the rear cylinder is or how to access it.

Total novice i know where the gen is on the left but now what ?

Update:

Its only in the cold this happens. I keep the bike in the living room at night and they are fine. But after a few hours outside the delay starts.

They were fine till the weather got cold.

Ok i will be fitting them tomorrow in my living room with the instructions on my tv through the PC.

Never removed carbs before or anything as major as this strip down so wish me luck.
