Don't know what there called but I got a couple last time I was at my Honda main dealer, just asked for the plastic clips that held the rear fairing in place underneath. IIRC they were about 90 odd pence each. Odd thing was thou' he asked me if mine had a rough or smooth finish on the top. Apparentl...

I bought a patten one (Sprint) for about £35 and it lasted only 12 months even with a charge on the Optimate before installing. Bit the bullet and went to my Honda dealer and got a genuine Yuasa for only £50 it's only been on a few months so can't tell you what it's like but before I put the patte...

Sorry, forgot about the pics I promised. The first is a pic of the throttle closed, 2nd with the throttle fully open. I checked and it does not hit the tank even thou' it is close. At closed throttle it seems to run flush to the most forward throttle cable. Hope this helps. And yes I know it does ne...

I've used Castrol GPS 10W - 30 semi for the last 10,000 miles on mine with 2 changes with no problems. Get it from Halfwits (Halfords) at about £25 for 4 litres. Same as the stuff the Honda dealer will sell you but a bit cheaper.

Maybe try you Honda dealer and get OEM. I know it sounds daft but I was in mine last week buying some filters and he was telling me that all Honda service items including chain & sproket kits have been reduced to compete with the after market market. :D Told him I didn't believe him and he shown...

Agree with storminateacup there. I used to have the same probs and flattened my battery but using the above method since last winter has worked well.

Yeah I've ridden one of the old 750's before the 800 came along as my friend still has his with only 6000 miles from new and have to agree it has one of the sweetest engines out there, although I did find it a bit too armchairish for me. If I was gonna go on some serious mile munching trip it would ...

Gazbut, I bought a 03 storm 12 months ago with the same mileage as yours. I've added another 8,000 miles and have had no problems. All i've done to mine is replace the battery, change the oil & filter and the spark plugs at 8000 miles. I use it every day during the week to commute and weekends o...
