Re: Slight vibration

Went out for a 340mile trip today, and I can happily say I’ve no unwanted vibration. Sorted with just a little adjustment. [emoji1360]

Re: For SALE: Honda VTR1000 Firestorm. 1999. Silver.

How do you rate the storm vs the falco? The storm is great. For what I wanted if for it was perfect, reliable, comfortable, and a great sound track. The storm handles well, stops well, and easy and quick to ride. But, it’s just like every other Honda I’ve had, it’s all a bit safe, if you know what ...

Re: For SALE: Honda VTR1000 Firestorm. 1999. Silver.

GLWYS Shame, but at least you will be going V twin Stay around and let us know your progress. My friend recently sold his Falco, I think he regrets it somewhat. Thanks bud. Yeah I kinda regret selling my falco, in the 20 years of riding, the falco was the one I had the most fun on. I was thinking a...

To be honest dude, I’m thinking of selling once I’ve sorted the little bits that need doing, so no point in getting new cans. It was next on the list if I was going to keep her. [emoji6]

Re: Slight vibration

Anyway, the rubber mounted was old and started to split, it was on so tight it was crushing the rubber. Ive replaced...

Re: Slight vibration

I used to put a set of std cans on for the mot at first, they always made the rh peg buzz noticeably. Never a problem with mids and cans, though. If you have standard cans on, to check, just remove the bolt through the clamp by the peg and temporarily twist a bit of wire through the holes- then rid...

Re: Slight vibration

if the exhaust is slightly twisted it will transfer more engine vibration into the frame. slacken it off a bit and tighten it up from the front to the back Ok cool. Never really thought about it being vibration from the exhaust, but it make perfect sense. Thanks, I’ll check it [emoji1360] Sent from...
