So next months jobs are check the manual CCTs as there is a leak from one, pull through the brakes and new fluid and pads and have a look at valve clearances. So next months jobs are check the manual CCTs as there is a leak from one, pull through the brakes and new fluid and pads and have a look at valve clearances. Is there anything else whilst I’ve got it in bits that I should be doing? Cheers.

Yes , strip down to remove the rear cam cover as an absolute minimum.. And if you are not confident doing the front mcct blind, then you should take the front cam cover off as well. There is a way to copy the setting used on the rear to get the 7mm free play, onto the front, but if you are not too ...

Strip down to alter CCT?
A quick one, do I have to strip down to measure the play in the chain to adjust the manual CCT or can I do it as is. Cheers.

depends if you want looks or function. if you want function, then the list should be: 1) front suspension upgrade or replace as its too soft and a bit flexy 2) rear shock, or a the very least a softer spring on the std shock 3) brakes - hoses, pads and if you still don't think they are good enough ...
