started on the brakes the were proper nasty , i have never seen thick snot inside a caliper before

quick go in the dishwasher wile the wife was out cleaned them a treat

well it all started today with a bit of spanner work , removing the forks and the wheels ,found one of the mudguard bolts had snapped off so it had to be drilled and tapped and then to drain the very old oil out of them , well that when the fun started , first one easy second one no way was it going...

silly question but im striping down the bike and was thinking how nice the the exhaust would look polished but putting a magnet to it it appears to not be

any body got a fork top nut or a bent fork with a good adjuster as i buggerd one of mine changing the oil as it refused to come out

you are right about chucking lots of money at it the first thing is a full service then the build will have a budget that will be quite tight and i have lots of spare parts in my workshop that can be made to fit

riding on twisty roads you are best using the rear break going in to a corner as it will stop the front diving and causing the front to lose traction
