Re: Koso db exo2 help

I'm certainly no expert but I think the model you've stated doesn't have an RPM function?

Re: bars levers wrist ache

I think most of us suffer to some degree. I fitted the clipons from later Firestorms (2002 on i think), which are marginally taller and slightly further back. The difference was obvious when i had the old and newer clipons side-by-side. By far the biggest difference was fitting a radial clutch MC, f...

Re: Probably going to be VTR owner?

You don't say how old you are, but for reference, my dad gave up riding his VTR when he was 70. This was the point where he found it too heavy and uncomfortable, especially for his knees.
It was a win for me though, as the VTR is now mine

Re: How to fit stick coils

I fancied having a crack at this, being as the subject popped up recently, plus the fact i'm bored waiting to get the bike out again  CBR600rr coils are very pricey on eBay at the moment. I can't see any for less than £20ea delivered, plus the sub-loom for the connectors. They are half the pric...

Re: Front fork seal

Cheers, i'll put the stand on my Christmas list to myself.
Any recommendations for the make of stand and pin size? The ones I've seen max out at 18mm, the internal diameter of the steering tube measures 22mm i think.

Front fork seal

Evening Gents & ladies. Looks like I've blown a fork seal. IMG_3395.jpg My knowledge of suspension internals is sadly lacking. So is it a case of removing the fork and getting my local shop to replace it? The forks were worked on my Roger about 4 years ago, so do i just need to tell them the oil...

Re: Radial clutch MC. Cylinder size

The only clearance issue was with the adjuster on the lever. I had to place the MC just about as high up on the clipon as it would go, but that seems to be a natural position for it.

Re: Radial clutch MC. Cylinder size

For anyone interested, i ended up buying a Brembo clutch master cylinder and lever from eBay. I could tell by the photo's that it was probably a 15x18 or 15x19. From a Ducati Panigale. https://i.postimg.cc/zyHFChd0/panigale.jpg Fitting was straightforward-ish. I had to reverse the existing hydraulic...

Re: Radial clutch MC. Cylinder size

Thanks for the input, SC57 would be 2004-2007 right?
MacV2, do you know the cylinder size of the Brembo you fitted? Do you think it makes a difference?

Radial clutch MC. Cylinder size

Hi, I've been on a long trek through the old posts but can't find exactly the info i'm looking for. I'm considering changing the standard clutch MC with a radial one, seems to be a few of the HC1 Magura KTM ones on eBay. The most common cylinder size is 18mm, would this be okay for the firestorm? Ha...

Re: Fuel tank size

The pictures you posted in the other thread, show the petcock attached to the tank, so here in Europe that would be the smaller 16l version.
