Re: Back again - in YELLOW

Good choice! Now, what extras do you have planned? The goodies I have on mine could possibly find a new home before it's sold . . . 2:1 titanium Arrows full system? . . Thanks Tony. I'm more a stickler for originality on these bikes, however, the 2:1 does have history with Honda as we have discusse...

I spent a weekend drag racing on a plugged tyre, and it was fine. . .

Thanks for that.

Re: 2 into 1 exhaust system on the Firestorm

That said They developed one for the Sp 1 & 2 which worked rather well. If I remember rightly, the two into one gave better top end but with the sacrifice of a bit of mid range Yes, Colin Edwards used it on the SP-2 in the 2002 WSB. Of note though, after mid-season break, he returned with the tradi...

Re: Half hour ride....

Is there a speed rating for plugged tyres?

I am a bit naive as I come from the days of vulcanising patches on inner tubes!

Now, like many, we sit and check the weather apps for a bit of a break.

Re: Whats cheered you up today...?

I am reg plate 'OCD'. :D No mods planned. This (to me) is the sort of bike that should be kept original. Yes, it is a tighter fit than our 'full size' bikes, but it seems light and sweet handling although awaiting good weather for proper enjoyment. Very nice exhaust roar; I'm surprised it's n...

Re: Royal Family - Yes or No?

I am somewhat of a traditionalist and believe in maintaining links with history, BUT the Royal Family no longer seems to have an authoritative function, save for giving the Royal Assent to new legislation. Parliament and Prime Minister (with cabinet) do most of the country 'running'. I believe there...

Re: what have you done to your

Went out for a 50 mile ride in the 1960’s yesterday! Does nothing as well as the VTR but everything is more relaxed. Lovely 'proper' British Triumph. Whilst they're putting out some nice bikes now, the 'international' flavour seems to have taken the 'all British' out of the brand. I'm not being ove...

Re: The Blue Storm.

Good to get a sale in the dead season, well done. I thought I was the only one who buys this time of year! A brilliant time for buying. Private sellers seem more negotiable and dealers want to make a flying start to the year. I think our only competition is the speculators snaffling bargains to bun...
