Got the wheels painted at my work for free, so very pleased with that! Friend painted the forks for free too!

Helped balance out the expensive bits!

Also realised after I'd put it back together that I forgot the little fork seal protector things! Found them on the bench afterwards!

Forks back from being "Rogered"and front end put back together today. Nitron R1 shock on order. Chain and sprockets left to buy. Seem to have misplaced (lost) the new cush rubbers, so unless they turn up will be buying more of them too! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190622/ba672d650b7...

She is a keeper. She does have some flaws however, such as not letting me "borrow" the front end off her Fireblade!

She's fine. She's offered to fund some of it!

Forks now rubbed down and painted. Need to get sent off to Roger now.......

Wheels now got new discs and bolts, bearings and dust seals. Now need to get some tyres and chain & sprockets......££££££

Anyone got a picture of a wheel without discs so I can see what bits I need to rub down? Bearing bits are easy enough, but I currently don't have discs to check which bits I should do....

Think I'm going to go for M7RR's once I finally get paid. Been 4 weeks since last pay day and still another 2 to go!!

I did ask them to, however looks like they thought I just meant the thread for the disc bolts. They were done for free so I'm sure I can manage a bit of work to prepare them!

Bring out the dremmel, if only I hadn't recently broken it!

Painting done. Yet to decide if I can be bothered doing the rim tape...

Good point about the gold. Turns out there was not enough gold leftover from previous jobs to to the wheels anyway. All the colours they did have I didn't fancy. So going for black with the rim red instead of using rim tape afterwards. Front isn't so bad, but rear is flaking off everytime you go nea...
